Identify Blessing Blockers in your Business

Thank you for reading my post today! I pray that God will bless and favor you, your family and the works of your hands. I am writing this post today to help Christian businesses identify the most common blessing blockers that hinder their business from receiving abundant blessings from God. The Word of God promises in Deuteronomy 28, that abundant blessings will be given to those who will fully obey God. I pray that as you read this post, the Lord will guide you and help you identify blessing blockers in your life and in your business.

Jeremiah 17:10 "I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give to each man according to his ways, According to the results of his deeds.”

Please open your heart as you read this post. Open your heart to receive wisdom and revelations from the Lord as He exposes blessing blockers in your life and in your business. Hear His word truth and His truth will set you free. The Lord is constantly reaching out to us. He desires to help us with our issues and problems and He desires for us to prosper so that His glory will be revealed in us. He desires for us to manifest His kingdom and become a living testimony to our community. He desires to bless us abundantly so we can become His channel of blessings for His other children, all for His glory!

I am praying now that the Holy Spirit will expose all blessing blockers in your life and in your business. I pray for His light to expose the darkness so we can close any open door for the enemy. I have listed the most common blessings blockers for businesses below. Just allow the Lord to expose these blessings blockers and He will lead you to repentance and help you remove these things in your life and business.

• Unrighteous Acts

Unrighteous acts are the most common blessing blockers in businesses. Christian businesses should pursue righteousness and holiness following the character of our Lord Jesus Christ. Unrighteousness is an open door for the enemy to attack businesses. Examples of unrighteous acts in businesses are: Customer misinformation, dishonesty with business transactions, not meeting correct deadlines, selling low quality products and services, poor customer service and other business activities against the righteousness of God. Allow the Lord to expose any unrighteous acts in your business. The Lord will also expose unrighteous acts that you may have done in the past. It is important for a business to be cleansed from unrighteousness so it will be free from the ties of Satan.

Romans 1:18 “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.”

• Wrong Mindsets or Ungodly Business Strongholds

Christian Businesses may have wrong mindsets that weaken the faith of people in the business. Pray and ask God to reveal wrong business strongholds or wrong business beliefs that may be blocking the flow of blessings for your business. There may be some wrong beliefs such as being too prideful in management or being too afraid to try new creative ideas for business growth. God will oppose the proud. We need to continually humble down ourselves before the Lord and ask for His guidance as we manage our business. On the other hand, if you are too afraid to try new things for your business, you will not experience growth and success. The Lord wants us to dream big and not be contained in a traditional business box. Every instruction that we receive from God will lead us into fruitfulness and breakthroughs. Our God is a loving God and He is interested in our affairs. When we become one with Him, we bear fruit!

2 Corinthians 10:4 “We use God's mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.”

• Negative Words / Curses Against You and Your Business

Truly, there is power in our words. The word of God says that Life and death is in the power of our tongue. Ask the Lord to reveal curses or negative things spoken against you and your business. These curses or negative words may be blocking the flow of blessings and breakthroughs in your business. Allow the Lord to expose these words and break their power in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As Christians, we have been given power to break any curse spoken against us. Let us exercise our God given authority! We should also avoid talking negatively or anything that will cause discouragement inside our business. Instead, let us pray and encourage one another in the business to promote heavenly atmosphere free from negativity and curses of the evil one.

Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; And every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their vindication is from Me," declares the LORD”

• Lack of Giving

The Lord will surely bless a business that desires to help and support others as well. I urge you to check your commitment to God and let Him examine your giving. Our Lack of giving can also be a blessing blocker for us and our business. The Word of God says that those who help others will lack nothing. He will surely entrust you with more riches as you give to others. Accept God’s calling to become a channel of blessings for His glory! Learn how to effectively manage His riches and resources and you will be entrusted with more.

Luke 6:38

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

If you feel that these blessing blockers above are hindering your blessings and breakthroughs for your business, worry not and repent. Ask God for His forgiveness for any unrighteous act you may have done in your business. Ask God to help you be free from wrong business mindsets and beliefs and ask for His forgiveness if you thought that being independent of Him is right. In His name break every curse and negative words spoken against you and your business. Ask for God’s empowerment and conviction so you may have a giving heart just like Him. I believe today is the start of a new outpouring of blessings for you and your business. I pray and ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
